Our Story

Marty’s Meats began in 2012 as one of the first Rochester food trucks. Quickly earning a reputation for its standout barbecue-style proteins and sandwiches, Marty’s Meats food truck expanded its operation to include a versatile catering business. Soon to follow was the opening of Marty’s on Park, a brick-and-mortar location in Rochester’s Park Avenue neighborhood. As if there aren’t enough ways to get your Marty’s fix these days, you can even find Marty’s Signature BBQ Sauce lining the shelves of several area retailers.

Marty O’Sullivan

The Man Behind the Meat

Marty O’Sullivan is owner of Marty’s Meats (food truck, catering) and Marty’s on Park. He lives in the city of Rochester with his wife, Laura, Bernese mountain dog, (Emma) and cat (Sophie). Marty is the assistant Men’s Varsity Basketball coach at McQuaid Jesuit High School,  of which he graduated in 2003. He holds degrees in marketing and finance from the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University. While he attended Fairfield, he was a four year member and two year captain of the Men’s Basketball team. He also excelled at hosting impromptu BBQ’s on the Fairfield Beach.
